Our goal here at the ranch is to raise hoofstock in a free environment, and allow the ranch to raise the animals with its natural available food supply. We do feed natural feed in certain areas for capture purposes, or in times of drought or cold. Capturing and handling wildlife is a very specialized area in which Circle H Ranch has been known as an expert for many years. Our handling facilities with specialized equipment and holding areas will allow us to handle almost any animal, treat and check them for diseases, parasites, check their general health, or place identification systems on them with a minimal amount of stress to both animals and humans. We also have customized trailers for moving animals to and from the ranch without much stress or injury to the hoofstock. We utilize a wide variety of capture techniques which include catch pens, chemical immobilization, and netting in rare circumstances.
