Circle H Lodge, a historic house from the early 1900's, is near Leakey, TX, in an area of the Texas Hill Country noted for magnificent scenery. The lodge is located in a lovely, secluded valley on Circle H Ranch. This is a working ranch devoted to the preservation of wildlife and is home to many species of both native and non-native animals. The two-story lodge is completely renovated and decorated in Cowboy High Style with antiques and Cowboy-Indian memorabilia. It has central heat and air-conditioning and provides many amenities. There is a large living and dining area. The five bedrooms are each uniquely decorated in western style and will sleep up to 10 people. Two bedrooms have king sized beds, one room has a full bed and two bedrooms have a pair of twin beds. There are two full baths. An upstairs sunroom provides a comfortable place to relax while enjoying the beautiful, panoramic view.
The well equipped kitchen includes a microwave and dishwasher. Also, a barbecue grill and a firepit are provided for outdoor cooking. The spacious yard that surrounds the lodge is perfect for picnics or even family football. Let the kids run free in a secured, carpet grass and manicured lawn area. Enjoy your children's giggles and pure delight as they meet and interact with nature. Relax at the lodge or down by the natural rock, spring-fed swimming pool in front of the lodge.
Circle H Lodge sleeps 8 adults without additional charges. Please call for rates if you wish to bring more than 8 people. We can accommodate more than 8 but will need advance notice to prepare the Lodge for the additional guests.
Need to unwind or let loose? Take a trip back in time and cross over "the border" to the Cantina at Circle H Lodge for a good time. The Cantina is decked out with authentic, swinging, saloon doors, an original bar from a renovated San Antonio River Walk hotel, cool Cantina decor, lights, and a top-notch satellite radio and sound system which is compatible with your electronics as well. Don't feel silly when you get the urge to put on the serapes and sombreros for picture opportunities. You'll be among the many who have already dared and shared. If you dare, we'll hang your group on the wall for all to enjoy for years to come.
The Cantina was originally built in the late 1920s and has been re-purposed many times over the years. Today, the Cantina has been rejuvenated into its most exciting existence, yet. Just outside the Cantina is an extended patio for those who feel like dancing under the stars.
Smoking inside lodge is prohibited. No pets.
